Description: Undergraduate and graduate students from the University of Montreal and

elsewhere are invited to submit proposals to participate in one of the panels. All

disciplines in the humanities and social sciences are encouraged to submit proposals

focusing on Asia according to one of our areas of study:
1. Geography and contemporary politics,
2. History, culture, and society,
3. Literature, thought, and spirituality.
This symposium aims to engage students interested in issues related to Asian studies in a

multidisciplinary space for sharing with other students and enthusiasts.
